Rihanna's hauntingly nice song which scared me a little today when it got replayed in my Zen, especially after a story I heard recently. But what if the male protagonist turns hostile and takes the gun instead? Or just say, simply refuses to let go, turns to threats and becomes impossible?

What should the girl do?

6. Catching up with friends and indulging in idle talk and mindless gossip is becoming more and more of a luxury nowadays. I know it sounds kinda 'auntie' or 'tai-tai' but dunno why when you passed a certain age and started working, all these routine things we used to do everyday simply became something that acts as a outlet that relieves pressure as we need not be that fake as the role we play in the workplace.

7. First time to walk into a watch exhibition. An unintentional but eye-opening visit for a rookie who knows nuts about the mechanism and exquisitness of high-end timepieces. Make that 2 actually coz my friend who walk in with me was just as clueless. Nevertheless, we walked away richer. No, we did not steal the watches. We gained more insight into a world, which would otherwise be far away from ours.

8. Yet another first time - a walk into nature. For such a homeboy-cum-city rat as me, who breathe in carbon monoxide and breathe out heavy sighs, venturing into nature was not exactly I had time to do often but it had been in my 'plan' all these years. Starting from Harbourfront, we walked all the way along Mt Faber, the Henderson Waves, Tanjong Pagar all the way to Alexandra. Sometimes on the metal ridges, sometimes on the earth trails. A well-spent morning. :)

9. Singapore finally won an Olmpics silver!!! After 48 years, it was a good fight to the end, i must say. Though never a table tennis fan or even an Olympics follower for most of my life, it was a most enticing match I've ever witnessed. A number of hard-fought to-and-fro battles throughout the match made it more exciting than any other drama. Erm, well not as dramatic as the qualifying match on Friday, but it's good enough. :)
